Terms of Use
Effective October 8, 2026
These terms govern your use of goalmakers.com, our learning platform at app.goalmakers.com, and the programs, live sessions and workshops that GoalMakers, LLC ("GoalMakers," "we," "us") offers. By using our website or enrolling in a program, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use our services.
1. Who can use our services
You must be at least 18 to create an account or enroll. If you enroll others on behalf of a company or association, you confirm you're authorized to do so.
2. Programs and sponsored enrollment
We offer programs directly, such as the Master Manager Program, through partner associations under the association's own brand, and as private cohorts for companies. When an association or company has a separate written agreement with us, that agreement controls anything it covers. These terms apply to everything else.
3. Your account
Each enrollment is for one named learner. Keep your login private and don't share your account. If you think someone else has used your account, tell us right away at team@goalmakers.com. You're responsible for activity under your account.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are listed on our website or the program's enrollment page, in US dollars unless stated otherwise. Payment is due when you enroll and is processed through the learning platform by our payment processor. Group discounts apply only as described at enrollment. We may change prices for future enrollments, but a change never affects an enrollment you've already paid for.
5. The GoalMakers Guarantee and refunds
If a program isn't valuable to you, tell us by the end of the second week of your cohort and we will refund your payment in full. Some partner programs set a longer guarantee period, which is stated on that program's page. To request a refund, email team@goalmakers.com. After the guarantee period ends, program fees are not refundable. If we cancel or reschedule a cohort, you can move to a later cohort or get a full refund.
6. Live sessions and recordings
Live sessions are held on Zoom and recorded. By joining a session, you agree to be recorded. Program session recordings are shared only with participants of that program. Recordings of free workshops may be published on our website. You can keep your camera off if you prefer not to appear on video.
7. Program materials and lifetime access
We own or license all program content, including videos, modules, worksheets, tools and handbooks. When you enroll, you get a personal, non-transferable license to use the materials for your own professional development and in your own work. You may not copy, resell, republish or share them outside your organization, or use them to build a competing program. Lifetime access means access to your program's materials for as long as we operate the learning platform.
8. Certificates and continuing education
Programs award a certificate of completion and a LinkedIn digital badge. These are not academic degrees or college credit, and they don't license you for any profession. Continuing education credit is available only on some partner programs, as stated by that program.
9. Your conduct
In discussions, live sessions and anything you post, be respectful and professional. Don't post anything unlawful or harassing, or confidential information that isn't yours to share, and don't send unsolicited promotions to other participants. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
10. Content you post
You keep ownership of what you post. You give us permission to host, display and use it to run the program, for example showing your discussion posts to your cohort.
11. Links
You're welcome to link to any page of our website. Our website links to other sites we don't control, and we're not responsible for their content or practices.
12. No professional advice
Our programs and website, including our tax deductibility page, offer general business education and information. They are not legal, tax, accounting or financial advice. Talk to a qualified professional about your own situation.
13. Disclaimers
We work hard to deliver our programs as described, but results depend on how you apply them, and we don't guarantee any particular outcome. Except as these terms state, our services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
14. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, GoalMakers is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits. Our total liability for any claim about our services is limited to what you paid us for the program involved in the 12 months before the claim.
15. Ending your access
You can close your account at any time by emailing us. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, with notice when practical. Sections 7, 10, 12, 13, 14 and 17 continue to apply after your access ends.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new effective date and email enrolled learners about significant changes. A change does not apply to a program you've already paid for unless you agree to it.
17. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of North Carolina. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts in Wake County, North Carolina, and you and we agree to those courts' jurisdiction.
18. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and share personal information.
