Privacy Policy
Effective October 7, 2026
This policy explains what personal information GoalMakers, LLC ("GoalMakers," "we," "us") collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It covers our website at goalmakers.com, our learning platform at app.goalmakers.com, our live sessions and workshops, and the emails we send.
1. Information you give us
- Inquiries and registrations. When you fill out a contact, workshop, resource or interest form, we collect your name, email address and anything else the form asks for, such as your phone number, company, job title and message.
- Enrollment and your account. When you enroll in a program, we collect your name, email address, password, job title, and your employer or association if one sponsors you.
- Your coursework. The learning platform records your progress, quiz and knowledge-check results, assignments, and anything you post in program discussions.
- Payments. If you pay online, your card details go directly to our payment processor. We see your name, billing details and the payment status, but we do not store full card numbers.
- Messages. If you email, call or message us, we keep that correspondence.
2. Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data. Like most websites, ours receive your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, and the site that referred you.
- Session analytics. We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use our pages. Clarity records clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, and builds heatmaps and session replays from them. Microsoft processes this data under the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
- Embedded content. Our pages include videos hosted by Wistia and forms run by HubSpot. These services may collect usage data and set their own cookies when they load.
3. Information from others
- Your employer or association. If an organization enrolls you or sponsors your seat, it may give us your name, email address and job title.
- Business contact sources. We collect business contact information, such as names, work email addresses and job titles, from public sources and business data providers to contact organizations about our programs.
4. Live sessions and recordings
Live sessions and workshops run on Zoom and are recorded. Program session recordings are shared with the participants of that program through the learning platform. Recordings of free workshops may be published on our website. Your name, video and anything you say or type in a session may appear in a recording.
5. How we use your information
- To run our programs: enrollment, access to the learning platform, live sessions, certificates and LinkedIn digital badges.
- To report progress to your sponsor, if an employer or association enrolled you or paid for your seat.
- To answer your questions and send what you asked for, such as workshop details or downloads.
- To send updates about our programs and workshops. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time with the link in each email.
- To understand how our website is used and improve it.
- To keep our services secure, prevent fraud, and meet our legal obligations.
6. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share it only:
- With service providers that run parts of our business for us under contract, including our website host, learning platform, email and CRM provider, video platforms, session analytics provider and payment processor. They may use the information only to provide their services to us.
- With your sponsor. If your employer or association enrolled you or paid for your seat, it receives your name, email address, company, the price paid, whether you completed the program and earned your certificate, and your program rating if you answer our end-of-program survey.
- When you choose to share. For example, when you post your certificate or digital badge on LinkedIn.
- When the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety and property of GoalMakers, our learners or others.
- In a business transfer, such as a merger or sale, where the new owner keeps this policy's protections.
7. Cookies and similar technologies
We and our service providers use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in to the learning platform, to remember form details, and to measure how our pages are used, including through Microsoft Clarity and HubSpot. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some features, such as signing in to the learning platform, may not work without them. We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies.
8. How long we keep information
We keep your account and coursework records while your account is active, which includes lifetime access to program materials. After that, we keep them only as long as we need them to confirm your certificate, keep business records, or meet legal obligations. We keep inquiry and marketing contacts until you ask us to remove you or we no longer need them.
9. How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your choices and rights
- Marketing emails. Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or email us.
- Access, correction and deletion. You can ask for a copy of your personal information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. There is no fee. We may need to verify your identity first, and we respond within 45 days.
- Where you live. Residents of some US states, Canada and other places have additional privacy rights under local law. We honor those rights where they apply. If we decline a request, you can ask us to reconsider by replying to our response. In Canada, you can also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
To make a request, email team@goalmakers.com. Our privacy officer, Nicholas Cioffi, Chief Operating Officer, is accountable for how GoalMakers handles personal information and oversees these requests.
11. Children
Our programs are designed for working adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Where we process information
GoalMakers is based in the United States, and we store and process information in the United States. If you use our services from outside the US, your information will be transferred to the US.
13. Links to other websites
Our site links to other websites, including partner association sites and LinkedIn. Their privacy practices are their own, so review their policies.
14. Changes to this policy
